Why fourteen faces
Kadele's patented bead breaks away from the six-sided brick. Six square faces and eight hexagon faces let every bead connect in fourteen directions, so curves, shells, and lifelike animals come out smooth instead of blocky.
The same geometry is what makes the Studio possible: the bead tiles space perfectly, so any 3D shape can be computed into a buildable arrangement with no glue, no cutting, and no guesswork.
